What is a Noise Level Assessment?

A Noise Level Assessment is a process which identifies noise hazard areas using a noise level meter. Data collected from noise level monitoring and testing identifies the conditions and, therefore, the actions that can be taken to reduce noise pollution.

Why is Noise Level Assessment important?

Noise level assessment is one of the most important risk assessments in an office environment. It helps to identify the noisy areas in the workplace. Additional noise measurements need to be made in areas where employees may be exposed to noise levels that can cause hearing loss.
