GCL is now accredited for the ZDHC (zero discharge of hazardous Chemicals) MRSL V.3.1 certification Level-2&3

GCL International is very delighted to announce that we are now accredited for the ZDHC(zero discharge of hazardous Chemicals) MRSL V.3.1 certification Level-2 &3. ZDHC MRSL The ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (ZDHC MRSL) is a list of chemical substances banned from intentional use in textile, leather and footwear manufacturing (except metallic trims). Using chemical formulations that meet the requirements of (conform to) ZDHC MRSL allows suppliers to assure both their customers, and themselves, that banned chemical substances are not intentionally used during production and manufacturing processes. The Foundation FSSC 22000 upgraded its FSSC 22000 Version 5.1 into FSSC 22000 Version 6

Dear FSSC 2200 Certified Client, The Foundation FSSC 22000 upgraded its FSSC 22000 Version 5.1 into FSSC 22000 Version 6 of the FSSC 22000 Certification Scheme. This new edition incorporates all the improvements in additional requirements including the addition of new additional requirements. The Scheme documents for the FSSC 22000 Version 6 and also, the upgrade process requirements are available on the FSSC 22000 website for free. Audits against the FSSC 22000 scheme requirements V 5.1 are only allowed to be delivered up to 31 March 2024. Upgrade audits against FSSC 22000 Scheme requirements Version 6 shall be conducted from 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2025.

Training session on “Leather processing, manufacturing, and Recycling Process”

An internal auditor training session on “Leather processing, manufacturing, and Recycling Process” has been organized by GCL International Ltd, Bangladesh. The GCL International Bangladesh Office hosted an internal training on “Leather Processing, Manufacturing & Recycling Process” on July 16th (Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh). The session’s instructor was Muhammad Abul Bashar, a leather technician at the Institute of Leather Engineering & Technology. The training’s certification ceremony took place today. All participants received certificates from Mr. Nur E Alam Anik, Country Manager, GCL International Bangladesh.
